The Effect of Middle School Students' Metacognitive Awareness and Logical Thinking Skills on Success in Mathematics Course

The aim of this study is to investigate effect logical thinking skills on the success mathematics course at Metacognitive Awareness Secondary School Students. research was conducted in Siirt city centre Fevzi Çakmak with 120 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students 2018-2019 education year. data were collected through both Inventory Schraw ve Dennison (1994) Test Logical Thinking Skills Tobin Capie (1981). During research, analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, independent samples t-test, linear regression SPSS. According results, a positive evident metacognitive awareness skills. There significant relationship between point average (GPAM) scores. In addition, there considerable GPAM results suggest that are predictors academic achievement. Also, it examined whether achievement, differ according gender.
